Editorial & Corrections Policy
People-first publishing rules
Pages are written to help someone complete a time-related task first. We do not set a minimum word count, and we do not add paragraphs merely to make a page look longer. A short calculator page may need less explanation than a method-sensitive prayer or solar page. Repeated interface instructions are kept brief; page-specific facts, limitations and examples are preferred.
Programmatically generated location pages must earn their place by showing data that changes with the location, such as time zone, daylight-saving behaviour, coordinates or solar calculations. Country-level variants that do not add enough precision are kept out of search indexing while their links remain crawlable.
Fact checking and sourcing
Exact values are presented as exact only when they are actually deterministic. Estimates, projections and method-dependent results are described as such. We avoid turning common anecdotes into universal facts, especially around sleep, productivity, cooking, exercise and health.
For scheduled events, an organiser, governing body or official calendar is preferred over a generic third-party date list. For time zones, standards and astronomical calculations, technical reference sources are preferred. Where local observation or authority can override a calculation, the page should say so.
Corrections and updates
When an error is confirmed, the goal is to correct the source data or calculation rule rather than masking the problem with explanatory copy. Date corrections should update the countdown, visible date, metadata and any generated structured data together. Technical fixes are checked for PHP syntax errors, broken JSON and obvious asset problems before release.
Editors can change the Gutenberg content on ordinary pages and the SEO fields supplied by the theme. A manual edit should be preserved during routine theme upgrades wherever possible; migrations are limited to known generated defaults or known incorrect seed data.
Important limitations
If a page gives a result that matters for travel, worship, food safety, medication, exercise, legal deadlines or another high-consequence decision, verify it with the relevant official or qualified source. This site is a practical time utility, not an emergency, medical, legal or religious authority.
