10 Minute Meditation Timer
A complete short session
Ten minutes gives more room than a quick reset while still fitting into an ordinary day. Use it when you want a complete seated session without committing to a long practice.
The first minute may feel different from the last, but there is no target state you have to reach before the timer ends. The useful task is simply returning to the practice you chose whenever you notice you have left it.
Adjust the length to the habit
If ten minutes feels consistently rushed, lengthen it. If it regularly becomes something you avoid, shorten it. A repeatable duration is more useful than choosing a longer number because it sounds more serious.
Questions people ask
Should I move up to ten minutes from five, or start here?
Either is fine. If five minutes already feels easy and unhurried, ten gives more room to notice the sit actually settling rather than being over just as it does.
